Flower School Flower Duet

Flower Duet Flower School offers flower arranging workshops and private sessions in our 4,500-square-foot floral design studio in the South Bay of Los Angeles, at the base of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and next to Redondo Beach, California.  We work with premium flowers, including garden roses, orchids, peonies, and hydrangeas. We provide the cut flowers and greenery, vases, and floral cutters, and offer you step-by-step instructions on how to recognize the freshest flowers, care for them, and create a beautiful flower arrangement. Each of you will then be hands-on with your own set of flowers to create a design to keep. Discounts are available when signing up for three classes or more. Lessons usually last 1.5–2 hours. See details on each class page for location, hours, fees, and descriptions of the flower arranging class. Flower Studio Flower School Location: 2675 Skypark Drive, Suite 205, Torrance, CA 90505. Floral Hues & Harmony As each season progresses, we will explore the feelings and temperatures for each month with winter focusing on depth and contrast. We’ll start the year in January with florals in icy blues, then warm up with deep and vibrant reds for Valentine’s and work into spring with bright greens and spring bulbs in March. For April, May, and June, we’ll look at the lightness and tonality in florals. In April, our theme with be high-key pastels and in May we’ll explore a color trend for 2027 of pinks and greens.  June will bring us a kaleidoscope of color in a meaningful and tasteful vase combination. For summer and into fall, we’ll warm up with summery sunsets of orange and gold, hot textures and colors for August with Dahlias and trendy neutral tones in September with coffee-colored roses and dark red accent flowers When the holidays arrive in October, we’ll get a little discordant in color and have fun with succulents, too! Students will warm up in November with fall colors for family gatherings with umber tones in November. For the December holidays, we’ll offer two themes for a holiday glow: reds for the ripe berries of the season and creams to highlight the glimmer of candlelit nights.
