Peonies are native to Asia, Europe and Western North America. Peonies were native to Europe and used for medicinal purposes in the 13th Century and introduced to England before 1600. In this vase floral design class, students will learn the tricks of helping Peonies to open safely and how to combine them with other flowers. No floral foam will be used. Students will also learn how to use a Kenzen (pin frog) as a additional demonstration portion of this class.
